About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Repair Technician to join our team at Bolton Alignment & Truck Repair Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment: Use computerized and other testing equipment to detect faults and malfunctions in heavy trucks and equipment.
  • Diagnose and Repair: Diagnose faults or malfunctions and repair or replace defective parts to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Order and Maintain Inventory: Order parts and maintain inventory to ensure efficient repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair or replace equipment.
  • Test and Verify: Test repaired equipment to ensure it meets manufacturers' specifications and verify that work meets quality standards.
  • Attach and Adjust: Attach components and adjust new equipment to ensure proper fit and function.
  • Service and Maintain: Service and maintain attachments and working tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Verify and Repair Emission Control Systems: Verify and repair emission control systems to ensure compliance with regulations.
Personal Suitability
  • Accurate and Reliable: Accurately diagnose and repair equipment, and be reliable in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
  • Flexible and Adaptable: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment, and be able to work well under pressure.
  • Work Term and Hours: Work a permanent term with 35 hours per week, and be available to work a variety of shifts as needed.
