Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Transport Mechanic to join our team at Thomas L Swaine Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with commercial transport truck systems, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a commercial transport vehicle.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical and electronic systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
