Key Responsibilities- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut metal to precise specifications.
- Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to shape metal into desired forms.
- Determine the weldability of materials to ensure high-quality welds.
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment to move heavy metal parts and products.
- Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience in welding and metal fabrication is an asset.
- Organized and able to work independently.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
