Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Hours of Work/Shifts: Day and Night shifts on a rotating basis

Position Summary:
As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, your responsibilities will include:
- Taking charge of nursing care for patients, ensuring accountability for decisions and actions.
- Assessing, monitoring, and providing care for critically ill neonates in a 2C level NICU.
- Understanding and adhering to hospital, college, and unit policies and procedures.
- Delivering customer and family-centered care.
- Collaborating effectively within the Women's and Children's Program.
- Being a progressive, innovative, and problem-solving team player aligned with the vision of Trillium and the philosophy of the W&C Program.
Qualifications:
- Registered in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) or eligible for registration.
- NICU Certificate preferred.
- Recent experience in NICU is essential.
- Current NRP Certificate.
- Current CPR Certificate.
- Experience in breastfeeding support is an asset.
- Ability to think critically and prioritize effectively in emergency situations.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication abilities.
- Reliable and adaptable to work as part of a diverse team.
- Positive attendance and work record are crucial.
- Willingness to accommodate the diverse needs of parents, considering their cultural and religious backgrounds.
