Required Qualifications: ARRT Registry Certification in MRI; A minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI operations. State licensure in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Ultrasound is mandatory. The MRI technologist must exhibit strong computer literacy and technical proficiency to deliver high-quality MRI images in line with Watson Clinic's commitment to exceptional patient care.
Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, accountability, dedication to achieving objectives, and effective resource management.
Must possess the capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members.
Additional Qualifications: Candidates should display above-average intelligence, precision, cooperative spirit, and a neat, professional appearance, reflecting the department's esteemed image.
Role Overview
The MRI technologist plays a vital role as a collaborative team member focused on shared objectives.
In this capacity, the technologist operates the MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images for physician review. The technologist continuously monitors image quality, making adjustments for clarity and resolution to ensure the radiologist receives superior diagnostic images. Within the scope of their licensure and adhering to established protocols, policies, and procedures, the technologist is responsible for achieving the highest quality diagnostic images possible. They also share responsibility for all patient and team-related functions. The MRI Technologist may undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or lead technologist. Strong communication skills are essential to effectively prepare patients for the MRI procedure.
Note: The sign-on bonus will be disbursed in full upon successful completion of the probationary period. A commitment of two (2) years is required. This offer is exclusive to new employees.
