THE ROLE

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Instructor to join our team. As a Program Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering classes and programs that promote physical activity, wellness, and social connection. You will work closely with our team to design and implement programs that meet the needs of our diverse membership, and you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of participants.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma and several years of experience conducting classes, such as yoga and pilates. You will also need to hold current program certification, such as Yoga Instructor and Pilates Instructor, and you will need to have current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications. Additionally, you will need to have knowledge of instructional techniques, group dynamics, health and safety practices, and injury prevention.

You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and you will need to be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities. You will also need to have strong leadership and teamwork skills, and you will need to be able to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English is the primary language of communication, but bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
