Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general custodial tasks, including dusting, mopping, cleaning washroom fixtures, and emptying waste receptacles
  • Restock single-unit dispensers with soap, towels, toilet tissue, and sanitary napkins
  • Complete periodic equipment checks to ensure optimal performance
  • Clean up scrap and oil as required
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience is an asset
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Reliability, motivation, and enthusiasm, with a willingness to assist as needed
  • Ability to use cleaning equipment
  • Physical ability to carry out duties of the position
