The Role

As Edge Imaging Inc.'s Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing all B2B and B2C program marketing efforts. You will work closely with key departments, including marketing communications, product, customer care, and sales, to create, educate, and execute sales collateral, program supports, and various campaign materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling headlines and body copy for various platforms, such as websites, ads, email, direct mail, print ads, brochures, posters/signage, FAQ materials, customer care messaging, sales support tools, and other projects as required.
  • Measure, present, and adjust campaign effectiveness through return on marketing investment reporting.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to evolve the Edge Imaging Inc. brand in voice and tone.
  • Proofread Edge Imaging Inc. communications.
  • Lead the process of ensuring content on Edge Imaging Inc.'s digital sales kit is current, accurate, and effectively supports sales efforts.
  • Generate creative and engaging content, photos, videos, and digital assets to support marketing to all of Edge Imaging Inc.'s customers (internal, B2B – schools, and B2C – students/parents).
  • Attend sales meetings to present Edge Imaging Inc.'s content strategy for the upcoming quarter.
  • Update Edge Imaging Inc.'s brand website, ensuring content is accurate and updated by coordinating changes with IT and web partners where needed.
  • Work with external translators to ensure all marketing campaigns are available at the same time in both English and French.
  • Monitor the marketing and sales activities of competitors and other photo/lifestyle brands and industries.
  • Review advertising, print, digital, and other brand advertisements.
  • Conduct ongoing B2B and B2C customer surveys to ensure Edge Imaging Inc. is delivering on its brand promise.
  • Ensure leads and potential business opportunities are flagged and followed-up on by appropriate team members, including all relevant feedback, reviews, and news is disseminated to correct stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the creation of program content, ensuring all stakeholder needs are addressed.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Copywriter in the consumer product industry.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Email automation experience (creation, execution, and assessment).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, nimble environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational ability and follow-through.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bilingual in English and French is an asset.
  • Photo, video, digital, and graphic design skills a plus.
  • Jira or Atlassian product knowledge a plus.
