Purchasing Agent Job Description

At Watson Enterprises Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies in accordance with established specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
  • Assess requirements of our establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Review quotations and determine contract terms and conditions.
  • Establish delivery schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in purchasing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
