Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Masonry Specialist to join our team at MODERN STYLES HOME LTD.. This role involves working in various construction settings, focusing on both new builds and renovations.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in masonry work
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in diverse environments, including:

  • Construction sites
  • Repair and renovation projects
  • Commercial and residential properties
Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
  • Estimating materials and tools required for various projects
  • Constructing and installing prefabricated masonry units
  • Building decorative installations such as patios and garden walls
  • Reading blueprints to determine material needs
  • Working at heights using scaffolding
  • Cutting and trimming masonry units to specifications
  • Restoring and maintaining existing masonry structures
Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding and requires:

  • Ability to handle heavy loads
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling
Tools and Equipment

Personal safety equipment includes:

  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Hard hat
