Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance on all human resources-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement HR Strategies: Build and execute HR business models and cultures that support both strategic and operational needs.
  • Talent Development and Management: Design and implement programs to support employee career growth and development, improve service delivery quality and pace, and build the organization's people, culture, and wellness strategies.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead talent assessment and direct the HR team on recruitment and retention strategies, act as a subject matter expert in HR, and contribute to executive team decision-making.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, manage HR programs and services, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years in HR management, preferably in a not-for-profit or NGO setting.
  • Education and Certifications: CHRP/CHRL designation or equivalent.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Proven negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, extensive knowledge of HR procedures and program development.
