Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual who is committed to meeting customer needs and ensuring every client feels valued. You will handle customer order inquiries from our distribution centers, working alongside a team of dedicated bilingual specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer purchase orders received through various channels, including telephone, email, fax, and online platforms for both Canadian and American markets;
  • Analyze customer orders and accounts to propose optimal solutions that save time and money;
  • Manage inventory transactions and logistics requests using various software systems;
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and the sales team regarding product availability and recommend alternatives based on their needs;
  • Follow up with customers on overdue orders that have not been collected;
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate product pick-up and delivery schedules.

Daily Responsibilities:

As a Customer Order Coordinator, your day begins by being available for incoming calls. Typically, calls from our dealer network represent a portion of your workday, while the remaining inquiries are handled via email on a first-come, first-served basis. As your day progresses, you will collaborate with various internal partners, including Transport, Distribution, Production, and Sales, enhancing your understanding of our internal processes and products, which will aid in your future career growth. During quieter moments, you can enjoy a coffee while utilizing your knowledge of ERPs and Microsoft Suite to enhance our internal and external processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for service and ownership of customer interactions;
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, a positive attitude, and meticulous attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask, coordinate, prioritize, and follow up within established deadlines;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and quick to learn;
  • Familiarity with inventory transaction and logistics systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) is a plus.
