Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Labourer to join our team at Impact Staffing Inc.. This role involves various outdoor tasks focused on maintaining the aesthetics and health of landscapes in both residential and commercial settings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a similar role is preferred.
Work Environment
  • Primarily outdoors
  • Conditions may include dusty and hot environments
Work Setting
  • Responsibilities include working in private residences and commercial properties
  • Involves landscape maintenance tasks
Key Responsibilities
  • Weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants
  • Mowing grass and maintaining lawns
  • Collecting refuse and removing litter
  • Applying fertilizers to enhance plant growth
  • Repairing and maintaining landscaping equipment
  • Watering and tending to gardens and lawns
  • Operating various landscape maintenance machinery
Equipment Proficiency
  • Experience with tractor mowers and weed trimmers/edgers is essential
Additional Skills
  • Experience in snow removal is an asset
Transportation Requirements
  • Must have own transportation as public transport is not available
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling

Work Hours
  • Flexible hours ranging from 5 to 8 hours per week
