Education Scholar

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a passionate education scholar to join the School of Education as a Full Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in K-12 Educational Leadership, K-12 Counselling, or Curriculum, Teaching and Learning in K-12 settings. This position includes a balanced focus on research, teaching, and service.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting active research with publications relevant to K-12 education
- Engaging in teaching at the graduate level in Education programs
- Participating in service to the School of Education and the broader community
- PhD, EdD or equivalent in a relevant field
- Minimum of one degree in Education
- Three years teaching experience in K-12 settings
- Record of scholarship with peer-reviewed publications
- Experience supporting diversity and inclusion
- Proven skills in integrating Indigenous knowledge and teaching methods
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
