Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at North Lake Enterprises LTD. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to construction site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Clean and maintain heavy equipment, including cranes and other machinery.
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials for reuse.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the site is safe and operational.
  • Respond to chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and debris from the site.
  • Direct traffic at or near the construction site, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
Work Environment

As a Construction Helper, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work 40 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime.

Language

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English.
