Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled Estimator with 5 to 7 years of experience in the field. This role is pivotal in developing and leading our estimating team, ensuring that our projects are executed with precision and efficiency.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $90K to $120K, commensurate with experience, along with an employee bonus plan and comprehensive benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the estimating process to ensure it operates smoothly and meets client expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  2. Review all project details meticulously to guarantee that all submitted quotes are complete, accurate, and timely, capturing the full scope of work and trades as outlined in bid materials.
  3. Analyze project specifications, including RFPs, drawings, and bonding requirements, to fully comprehend project scope, trades, and timelines.
  4. Participate in site visits to gather essential data for estimates and ensure detailed information is relayed back to the office for finalization.
  5. Disseminate drawings and specifications to subcontractors promptly, allowing adequate time for them to prepare comprehensive proposals.
  6. Mentor and manage Junior Estimators and any future members of the estimating team.
Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in estimating ICI projects.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex plans and specifications to produce accurate estimates.
  3. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple estimating projects simultaneously.
  4. Proficient in multitasking to effectively manage personal workload while overseeing direct reports.
  5. Experience in evaluating subcontractor quotes and negotiating pricing.
  6. Familiarity with standard practices, processes, and materials in the construction industry.
  7. Experience in managing direct reports.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  9. Proficient in PlanSwift and Microsoft Office applications.
  10. Willingness to travel to job sites as necessary for estimate completion.
