About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Designer to join our team at Fidus Systems. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge embedded software solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop embedded software solutions using C/C++ programming languages
  • Work with Xilinx or Altera FPGA SoCs, Xilinx SDK, and PetaLinux Tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, following best design practices and industry standards
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in embedded software design, with a strong background in C/C++ programming
  • Extensive knowledge of assembly, C, and C++ programming and their tools in embedded environments
  • Experience with user, driver, and kernel space Linux software development and Yocto
  • Strong understanding of digital hardware design and HW/SW/FPGA integration
  • Proven leadership experience, including the ability to lead project teams of multiple designers
