Job Summary
The Senior Business Advisor, Operational Efficiency Services is a key member of our team at BDC, responsible for delivering high-quality advisory services to entrepreneurs and small business owners. This role requires a strong understanding of business operations and a proven track record of delivering results-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement customized advisory services projects to help entrepreneurs improve their business operations and efficiency.
- Provide subject matter expertise and sales support to promote our practice's offering and drive business growth.
- Manage project delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion of projects.
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices in operations optimization, supply chain management, and industry 4.0.
- Collaborate with Client Partners to deliver projects and sell new mandates.
- Contribute to practice outreach activities, developing marketing content and promoting our offering.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or operations management; an MBA or related professional designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting firm, with a focus on operations optimization and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management, industry 4.0, and robotics is a significant asset.
- In-depth subject matter expertise and ability to develop pragmatic solutions for SMEs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a focus on delivering value to clients.
- Proven project management skills and knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Teamwork, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
