About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at Pepper Wireless. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of our data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement within our IT infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain computer databases to support business operations
  • Implement measures to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive data
  • Test and evaluate data models and database management systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Design and develop databases to meet business requirements
  • Operate database management systems to analyze data and inform business decisions
  • Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security
  • Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies to ensure compliance
  • Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, as well as data backup and recovery
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators to develop and implement data policies, standards, and models
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in data governance, database administration, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
