Millwright Technician

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates, a division of CRH Canada. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance
- Responsible for project work, including process and continuous improvement, and participate in annual shut-down teams for overhauls
- Troubleshoot and maintain Ready-Mix concrete production equipment, including belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers, and water heaters
- Perform welding, cutting, and brazing tasks using different techniques and metals
- Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks, and tractors, to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting
- Install, remove, troubleshoot, and repair bucket elevator and conveyor systems
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify problems with gear drives, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Valid industrial Millwright License
- Completed Millwright Apprenticeship
- Ability to obtain structural Welding certificate
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures
