Role Overview: The Logistics Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient handling of products, ensuring they are received, verified, stored, and transported to the sales area or warehouse accurately and safely. This position involves maintaining a clean and organized receiving area and warehouse, adhering to all health and safety regulations. The role is physically demanding, requiring lifting, carrying, and the operation of various technologies and machinery. Starting wage range: $18.75.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in enhancing customer satisfaction by:
    • Upholding cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to facilitate product accessibility.
    • Delivering and assembling merchandise as needed.
  • Receive, scan, verify, and store incoming and overstock products in accordance with established protocols.
  • Process returns and manage associated documentation.
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste, recycling, and damaged items per store policies.
  • Repair damaged packaging as necessary.
  • Report any damaged goods to management.
  • Utilize computer systems and scanning tools to enter relevant data.
  • Safely operate all warehouse equipment, including forklifts and power jacks.
  • Hold certifications in forklift operation, power jacks, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods as advantageous.
  • Possess computer skills for data entry and scanning.
  • Experience in retail shipping and receiving is highly desirable.
  • Handle hazardous materials following established safety procedures.
