Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements.
  • Prepare and manage government remittances/filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable, and payroll transactions.
  • Establish client files, support budget development, and contribute to administrative planning.
  • Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, and intercompany transactions.
  • Work closely with clients on administrative issues and provide guidance to team members.

Qualifications:
  • Accounting certificate or bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (preferably with a focus in accounting or finance).
  • At least 3 years of accounting experience.
  • Background in agricultural accounting.
  • Proficient in preparing T4s and T5s, with knowledge of personal and corporate taxation.
  • Understanding of accounting processes and principles.
  • Practical experience with accounting and tax software.
