Providence Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Psychologist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting research activities, presenting and publishing original psychology research, and providing clinical supervision to research assistants.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate research activities for various programs within the designated program(s)
- Presents and publishes original psychology research to experts in the relevant national and international community
- Oversees the day-to-day functioning of research activities
- Provides clinical supervision to research assistants
- Participates in the recruitment of staff and/or clinical research team members
- Participates in short and long-term planning for the designated Program
- Provides a variety of administrative duties in support of the overall operating budget for the designated Research area
- Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited University, plus one year supervised internship
- Two (2) years of recent, related experience including experience conducting or leading research activities in a clinical setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia
