Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at SSM Health as a Nuclear Imaging Specialist. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging techniques.

Job Responsibilities:
As a Nuclear Imaging Specialist, you will:
1. Conduct both therapeutic and diagnostic nuclear imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images are produced for analysis by radiologists and physicians.
2. Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical parameters.
3. Guarantee the timely submission of all images and documentation to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), maintaining high standards of image quality and accuracy in patient data and history.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
- An Associate's degree or completion of a recognized Nuclear Medicine certification program.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) Certification and Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Temporary Accreditation for Radiologic Technologists from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The role requires frequent physical activity, including reaching, gripping, and data entry.
