Key Responsibilities

  • Automation and Orchestration
    • Design and implement automation scripts for downtime deployment and maintenance.
    • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) templates for deployments and continuous integration/delivery pipelines.
  • Operations Management
    • Manage configurations, credentials, database maintenance, and backups for our cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and Observability
    • Develop tools for application monitoring and telemetry to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
  • Support and Troubleshooting
    • Provide operations support for testing (integration, security, performance) and delivery of services.

Requirements

  • Technical Skills
    • Azure RedHat OpenShift: 3 years of experience.
    • DevOps on Azure: 2 years of experience with tools like Azure DevOps Services (ADO), GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
    • Disaster Recovery: 3 years of experience with disaster recovery architectures, processes, and tests.
    • Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting: 3 years of experience.
    • Scaling Services: 3 years of experience with horizontal or vertical scaling techniques.
  • Desirable Skills
    • BuildMaster: 2 years of experience.
    • DevOps on AWS: 2 years of experience.
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Tools: 2 years of experience with tools like Terraform.
    • VM Sizing: 2 years of experience based on needs and performance testing.

Working Arrangements

This is a fully remote position, and you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
