We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Care Provider to join our team at Port Coquitlam Animal Hospital. This role is essential in ensuring the health and well-being of animals under our care.
Qualifications- Education: A degree in veterinary medicine, medicine, dentistry, or optometry is required.
- Experience: Training will be provided for the right candidate.
The position is based in a veterinary clinic, where you will work closely with a team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough examinations to identify diseases or abnormal conditions in animals.
- Administer treatment to sick or injured animals, which may include prescribing medications, performing surgeries, or dressing wounds.
- Implement vaccination protocols to prevent and manage diseases.
- Provide guidance to clients regarding animal care, including feeding, housing, behavior, and hygiene.
- Perform routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations as necessary.
- Offer a variety of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia.
- Strong oral communication skills.
