Role: Facility Maintenance Specialist
Lordco Auto Parts, a leading name in the automotive parts retail sector in Canada, is seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. With a legacy of family ownership since 1974, we pride ourselves on our commitment to our employees and their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide maintenance support across all Lordco locations in British Columbia and Alberta.
- Conduct troubleshooting and perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with service partners to effectively address maintenance challenges and unexpected issues.
- Foster positive relationships with vendors, store personnel, and team members.
- Maintain a detailed log of maintenance activities, including tasks and locations.
- Respond to building-related inquiries and concerns from various locations.
- Assist in executing assigned construction and maintenance projects.
- Quickly address maintenance and repair requests.
- Procure necessary supplies for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Engage with trades and internal stakeholders to facilitate maintenance operations.
- Monitor safety compliance on project sites in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained in optimal condition.
- Participate in cross-departmental projects and initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player.
- Exhibit a flexible attitude and strong communication skills.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50lbs.
- Possess basic computer skills and knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Experience in framing, drywall, plumbing, and painting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction management and maintenance practices is beneficial.
- Understanding of safe work practices as per regulatory standards is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods may be required.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record is essential.
- Possession of relevant trades certification is an asset.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is between $50,000 and $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
