Key Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for cutting and processing
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands
- Wrap and package prepared meats for display and sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish for sale
- Cut fish into steaks and fillets for our customers
- Prepare special sausages and sliced cooked meats for our deli counter
- Design and create visually appealing displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts and other meats for our customers
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail meat cutting environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet customer demands
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- English language support
