### Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have a Master of Social Work degree (MSW) from an accredited school of Social Work and be registered with the BC College of Social Workers (BCCSW). You will also have a minimum of two years of experience working in a paediatric/psychiatric setting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

### Skills and Abilities

In this role, you will be able to use initiative and exercise judgement, work independently on complex matters, communicate orally and in writing, establish priorities and organize your workload, and deal effectively with others in a complex, multi-agency environment. You will also be able to engage children and adolescents, manage crisis family situations, and demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, the acute care health environment, and community agencies and resources. Additionally, you will have demonstrated group leadership and public speaking skills.
