Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at the Forensic Services and Coroner's Complex in North York. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, visitors, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol the complex and surrounding areas to prevent and detect security breaches
- Monitor CCTV cameras and security alarms to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner
- Provide access control and concierge services to visitors and staff
- Conduct daily audits of CCTV cameras and doors to ensure they are functioning properly
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid WSIB-approved First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Minimum of one year of experience in security
- Proficient in English (both oral and written)
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
