About the Role:
DocuSign is seeking a talented Lead Backend Software Engineer to enhance our development team. This role is pivotal in constructing the core backend architecture that drives our Intelligent Agreement Management platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop robust, scalable backend systems that support our growth trajectory.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to design and implement customer-centric solutions utilized by numerous enterprises.
- Engage in critical thinking and swiftly grasp existing systems to innovate effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Contribute as an individual contributor while reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in C#, .Net Core, and SQL Database with experience in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Familiarity with building and consuming RESTful web services.
- Proven track record of delivering highly available and scalable services on cloud platforms.
- Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, including version control, testing, and deployment processes.
- Experience with Agile and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- A strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Work Environment:
