About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our FX Systems team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for our FX business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop FX systems and related components using Java, Spring, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the FX business.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Ensure code is maintainable, scalable, and adheres to best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the FX systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Experience developing and maintaining systems for the financial services industry, particularly in FX, is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of FX processes, market data, and risk management is a plus.
