Position Overview: The Desktop Support Technician - Citrix is tasked with delivering advanced technical assistance and maintenance for equipment in various settings. This role encompasses troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both hardware and software components while ensuring top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and enhance hardware and software components across multiple locations.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on technological equipment.
  • Identify and resolve product performance issues and various error conditions.
  • Provide technical support and manage incidents effectively.
  • Oversee inventory management and comply with device disposal protocols.
  • Document all installation and repair activities meticulously.
  • Educate customers on the proper use of equipment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment utilized during service calls.
  • Act as a liaison with clients regarding administrative and technical inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in desktop support within a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in device imaging and configuration.
  • Understanding of inventory management and device disposal practices.
  • Knowledge of network connectivity and desktop operating system administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation for local travel to client sites.
  • Flexibility in support coverage.

Preferred Certifications:

  • A+ certification
  • Associates/BSIT, ITIL, MCP, MCDST, Network+ & Server+ certifications are advantageous.
