Job Summary

Global Metal Quality Solutions Inc. is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our Drilling Operations team. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for handling, sorting, and moving drill pipes, tools, and other materials in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle and move drill pipes, tools, and other materials in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Sort and organize materials in a designated area.
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of drilling equipment.
  • Work in a team environment to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Drilling Supervisor.
Work Environment

The Labourer will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors, in a noisy and hot environment. The Labourer will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The Labourer will be required to work in a variety of conditions, including:

  • Repetitive tasks.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Physically demanding work.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
Language and Work Term

The Labourer will work in English and the work term is permanent. The Labourer will work 40 hours per week.
