The Nurse Practitioner will work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to deliver thorough evaluations, treatment plans, and ongoing support. There are also exciting avenues for professional growth and research within the field of neurology, specifically in epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of patients and clients
- Initiating treatment protocols and prescribing necessary medications
- Offering professional advice and collaborating with a range of healthcare providers
- Creating and executing evidence-based health improvement strategies
- Engaging in quality enhancement initiatives
- Ensuring commitment to professional development and patient safety
Required Qualifications:
- Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner with BCCNM
- A minimum of four years of recent clinical nursing experience
- Successful completion of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)
