Job Title: Hairstylist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced hairstylist to join our team at Hairbin. As a hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, styling, and coloring their hair.

Job Description:
  • Work Environment: Our salon is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team of professionals to provide excellent customer service.
  • Work Setting: You will be working in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio, surrounded by the latest hair care equipment and technology.
  • Tasks: Your responsibilities will include booking appointments, cutting and trimming hair according to client instructions, shampooing customers' hair, and providing other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Hair Styling Techniques: You will be expected to have expertise in various hair styling techniques, including blow drying, hair braiding, iron waving/curling, permanents, twisting, relaxing, and spiking.
  • Hair Colouring Techniques: You will also be responsible for applying bleach, dyes, and tints to color, frost, or streak hair.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination.
  • Personal Suitability: We are looking for a team player with excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
