About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Siding Installer to join our team at Delta Construction and Siding Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing exterior prefabricated products, reading blueprints and specifications, and ensuring high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior prefabricated products, including siding and trim
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products as needed
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and safe work practices
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring accurate and precise work
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including hand and power tools
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to facilitate safe work practices
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to complete installations and repairs
  • Clean work area, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the construction industry
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
