Position Overview

The role of a Kitchen Helper at DBA Taco Del Mar involves essential support in our culinary operations, ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dish Management: Efficiently operate dishwashers and manually wash dishes, glassware, and utensils.
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items while ensuring quality standards.
  • Sanitation: Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing kitchen surfaces, appliances, and equipment.
  • Inventory Control: Keep accurate records of food usage and assist in stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Waste Management: Responsible for the removal of kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Vegetable and Fruit Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits as needed.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a kitchen environment.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with working hours ranging from 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
