We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team at the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering innovative learning experiences that meet the needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop Learning Experiences: Create engaging and effective learning experiences that promote continuous learning and skill development for our employees.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Learning Advisors, Skills Development Specialists, and Learning Developers to plan, design, and develop learning experiences that meet business needs.
- Apply Design Thinking Principles: Apply design thinking principles to develop learning solutions that increase learner engagement, enhance retention, and aid knowledge transfer.
- Evaluate Learning Solutions: Design and implement measurement and evaluation plans to measure the effectiveness of learning experiences and learner achievement of performance-based learning objectives.
- Support Implementation: Support the implementation of learning solutions by designing and facilitating train-the-trainer sessions, planning for implementation, and publishing learning products to learning portals.
- Education: University completion at undergraduate level with specialization in education or a related field.
- Experience: Five years prior experience in eLearning design and development and workplace learning and performance.
