About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Royal Fountain Healthcare Services Inc. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Health and Wellness: Assist clients with medication management, wound care, and other health-related tasks.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and errands, ensuring their safe transportation and arrival at destinations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.
  • Language: English work language.
Work Environment
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including employer's/client's home.
  • Work Schedule: Permanent work term, 35 hours per week.
