Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Big Bite Pita. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Order supplies and equipment, maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Manage kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Dependability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
