Security Officers operate in various environments. This role may be physically demanding due to the scale of the premises. Candidates must be prepared to work both daytime and overnight shift rotations.

Key Responsibilities

Typical Duties Include:

Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain effective relationships with clients and visitors Perform proactive patrols to ensure safety, address policy violations, and document any issues Respond to and investigate security alarms and emergencies promptly and professionally De-escalate crisis situations, provide assistance, and coordinate with emergency services including police, fire, and medical personnel Manage crowd control and remove unauthorized individuals Prepare clear and comprehensive reports, including incident, emergency, liability, and daily activity reports Provide first aid and medical assistance as needed to individuals Utilize two-way radios and computer systems to communicate site activities Manage Lost & Found items and inquiries Qualifications:

Capability to obtain a valid security license Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent customer service abilities Keen observational skills Ability to make quick decisions while remaining calm in emergency situations with minimal oversight Physical capability to walk 18/20km and navigate stairs

Educational Background

High School Diploma or GED

Certification Requirements

Valid Security License
An unrestricted class 5 driver's license is an asset
