About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at 1125024 B.C. as a key member of our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the construction of various projects, including industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials, as well as erecting and dismantling scaffolding, ramps, and other equipment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Earthwork and Paving: Level earth to fine grade specifications, pave and rake asphalt, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, handling heavy loads, and working outdoors.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
