Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at HIGHMILES TRUCK & TRAILER SERVICE LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate a tractor trailer to transport goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent overtime. The ideal candidate will be organized, a team player, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
