Nurse Care Specialist

About the Role:
RhynoCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering excellent nursing and personal care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Nursing Care: Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Ensure Resident Safety: Ensure that resident transfers and discharges are timely and safe.
- Manage Medications: Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
- Assess and Plan Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of the residents.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent.
- Registration: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Certifications: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Computer Proficiency: Basic computer proficiency.
- Clearances: Medical Clearance (including but not limited to TB tests), Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check.
