About the Position

We are seeking a visionary and dedicated Associate Dean of Arts to join our leadership team at Redeemer University College. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, academic experience, and a passion for integrating faith and learning in the arts.

The Associate Dean of Arts provides leadership for Redeemer's arts programs by overseeing and supporting program development, curriculum, and faculty recruitment and development. The successful candidate will also teach in one of the arts disciplines and participate as a member of the academic executive leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of arts programs and curriculum.
  • Provide oversight for faculty recruitment and development in the arts area.
  • Teach courses in one of the arts disciplines.
  • Participate in the academic executive leadership team to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the university.
Requirements
  • A terminal degree in an arts discipline.
  • Experience in academic leadership, preferably in an undergraduate liberal arts context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A mature personal faith in Jesus Christ and a deep understanding of the Reformed Christian worldview.
