EMCO Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of customer orders, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Picking, Packing, and Shipping: Pick and pack customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional customer service.
- Inventory Management: Count, verify, and receive incoming vendor material and customer returns, maintaining accurate inventory records and identifying discrepancies or damaged material.
- Receiving and Processing: Verify and process incoming shipments, including obtaining packing slips, verifying material received, and entering data into the computer system.
- Material Handling: Load and unload trucks, operate forklifts and other material handling equipment, and maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with teammates to resolve shipping discrepancies, notify the team of inventory discrepancies, and maintain open communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Education: Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse management and supervising a team, with a minimum of 2 years of material handling experience.
- Skills: Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment, valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract, and intermediate math skills.
- Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, high standard of integrity, and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
