As a member of our pharmacy team, you will be dedicated to providing outstanding patient-focused care and surpassing patient expectations. We seek knowledgeable, friendly, and professional individuals who prioritize the health needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Exhibit compassion and empathy while ensuring excellence in patient-centered care, customer service, workflow efficiency, and compliance with corporate pharmacy programs and contractual obligations. Deliver clinical services in alignment with continuing care contracts, including disease management, medication assessments, and emergency services. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance health and wellness services for all patients. Develop and implement care plans, ensuring thorough documentation. Identify and address potential medication-related issues through comprehensive reviews. Provide educational support to nursing staff. Engage in facility committees and conduct biannual medication reviews alongside Nurses, Physicians, and Nurse Practitioners. Prioritize prescription safety by delegating technical tasks to Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as necessary. Prepare quarterly reports for facility management, reviewing medication errors and conducting audits. Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate pharmacy services and ensure patients receive appropriate care programs. Stay updated on pharmacy practices, regulatory standards, and industry developments; participate in required training. Comply with all regulatory standards, company policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Licensed Pharmacist in good standing within the province. Certification in Injection and First Aid. Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Advanced Prescribing) are advantageous. Experience with Kroll software is preferred.
