Nexas Roofing Ltd. is seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team. As a Welding Specialist, you will be responsible for operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
  • Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment
Work Environment

As a Welding Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with dusty and noisy conditions. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in a repetitive task environment.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
