Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a bilingual credit analyst to enhance our dynamic team. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will be pivotal in managing credit-related functions, including debt recovery and liquidity assessments, while adhering to internal controls and corporate policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with sales, customer service, inventory, and billing teams to oversee customer transactions, which includes printing, verifying, dispatching, and documenting customer invoices and credit notes.
- Process bank deposits, credit card transactions, and manage accounts receivable as necessary.
- Prepare and distribute monthly statements to customers.
- Evaluate and oversee customer credit limits and payment terms in line with company guidelines.
- Maintain comprehensive customer records and documentation.
- Support advisors as required.
- Engage with customers to ensure prompt payments and address any discrepancies.
- Manage all customer account transactions and inter-company accounting entries.
- Open new accounts, assess credit reports, and establish credit limits.
- Respond to inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep a detailed log of all customer account disputes.
- Document daily collection efforts and ensure compliance with agreements.
- Oversee contract terminations and maintain necessary correspondence.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
- Accounting Diploma.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Credit management training is advantageous.
- General accounting knowledge is beneficial.
- Proficiency in Excel and complex accounting systems within a Windows environment.
- Bilingualism in French and English is essential.
- Demonstrated autonomy, initiative, analytical skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with a strong focus on customer service.
- Flexible compensation based on experience and achievement of goals.
- Weekly payment structure.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
